New referee editor

The Forever World Cup Simulator has introduced a comprehensive referee editor to let you to customize various aspects of any match officials available in the game's database. With the referee editor , you can now modify: - Referee names - Nationalities (with the ability to select multiple nationalities) - Reputation and honesty ratings - Profile images (just enter image URLs) - Personal attributes - Gender - Tokens earned from fixing / officiating matches over the years To access this powerful customization tool, simply need to navigate to any referee's profile and click on the "edit / pencil" icon. This addition provides players with unprecedented control over the officiating element of the game, allowing them to create unique referee personalities or adjust existing ones to their liking. Knockout bracket editing

A powerful new "Bracket" section has been released in the competition editor, which allows you to tailor the entire knockout bracket and matchups easily. For each bracket position, you can: Specify potential groups for team selection Choose the rank of teams within those groups Select teams from specific previous stages Opt for best or worst ranked teams from selected groups Freely add new matchups or remove existing ones Using the 48-team World Cup as an example: If the default 32-team knockout doesn't suit your needs, you can use the new feature to create a 16-team knockout. In the "General" tab of the knockout stage, edit the knockout slots to 16 and edit the rounds to 4. Go to the "Bracket" tab and remove half of the brackets by clicking the "trash icon" Use the "Minus" or "Plus" icon to add or remove potential groups the opponent may come from. 5-host EURO 2028 is possible!

The Host editor has been updated to expand the new multi-host capabilities, removing the limitation of 3-host imposed in the previous versions. With this feature, it allows for the EURO 2028 to be added as a default competition, featuring its unprecedented five-host nation setup: England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. All host nations will enter the qualifier stage to compete for the finals. They can be eliminated during the qualification rounds, and there are no special treatments to the host nations for now. You can check out the 2028 EURO in the  "Host" editor : All five UK and Ireland hosts will enter the qualifiers as pot 1 teams. You can also change the group draw if you don't like the default results.

Performance adjustment editor has been released!

A new feature called "Performance Adjustment" has been introduced. This allows you to apply temporary modifications to teams' performance for specific competitions. These adjustments will only affect the match simulation in the selected competition and will not alter the teams' actual attributes or Elo ratings. This tool can be useful if you believe a team has historically over or underperformed in a particular competition. For example, Croatia consistently overperforming in recent World Cups, or England underperforming their expected Elo ratings in major tournaments. Additionally, this feature can be used for teams that typically field weaker squads for less prestigious competitions, such as Japan and South Korea deploying their "B" teams for the EAFF East Asian Cup. This could potentially increase the chances of upsets by weaker teams like China or Hong Kong. You can modify any team attribute fields, including Elo ratings, attack, defense, reputation, luck...

New team editor to create your own club teams!

The latest update to the football simulator introduces an exciting new feature – the Team Editor. This powerful tool allows you to create and customize your very own club teams from scratch, giving you complete control over every aspect of your football database. With the Team Editor, you can customize every details from the name, confederation, tokens, images, to  Elo ratings.  Editing your team's victory, mascot, and squad images is a breeze – simply provide the URL addresses of the desired images. You can add as many images as you want. The simulator will randomly display any one of them during the game. For team flags, you must provide four different flag sizes (20x13px, 40x23px, 80x53px, and 120x90px). The 120px should be a wave-style flag which is used for victory.  Spain's 120x90px wavy flag. New export and deletion features with an ability to retain specific data like playlists, competition formats.

The Forever World Cup Simulator just got better at exporting your data. Now you can choose specifically what you want to export - like your custom tournament setups, playlists, hosts, starting stage config, head-to-head match records and competition formats. Just hit the "Export" button on the homepage, and pick what you need to keep in the popup. Select specific data you want to export. This is super handy if you've made a really cool competition format that you want to save, without having to export your whole game. This is great if you want to share your creations or try out new setups from your friends without starting from scratch. The improved "Delete all tournaments" section. Even better, there's a way to retain the data you want when deleting your entire save file. It's really convenient if there's something important you don't want to lose - you can hang on to that, while still clearing out the rest of your save. This makes it easy to st...

Updated Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games Football tournament has increased the number of participating teams from 56 to 63. Several unaffiliated teams, including Jersey , Nauru , Isle of Man , Niue , Kiribati , and Guernsey , will be automatically added to the database if they are not already present. It no longer requires you to add these teams on the "New team" page manually anymore. Jersey,a British Crown Dependency, in the Commonwealth Games! Due to the odd number of teams in the latest format, the groups are not evenly sized, with some having fewer teams than others. This imbalance could lead to unfair overall standings rankings. An upcoming update will address this issue. For groups with more teams, the match results against the lowest-ranked teams will be discarded when determining the overall group standings. American Xtreme Soccer Federation now available.

The American Xtreme Soccer Federation (AXSF) is a new fictional league inspired by the format of Major League Soccer in real life. It features teams representing the top 30 states in the United States, divided into two conferences: the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Before the start of the season, you can replace teams or switch teams between the two conferences. You can even choose to replace the US state teams with other national teams. During the regular season, each team will play their intra-conference opponents twice, totaling 28 matches. Additionally, they will face six inter-conference opponents, bringing the total number of matches to 34 for the regular season. 34 matches in total per team each season. After the regular season, the top eight teams from each conference will advance to a two-leg knockout round to determine the ultimate champion of the AXSF. The American Civil War II League released.

The highly anticipated American Civil War II League has been released. The league consists of the Blue and Red Leagues, each divided into top (Level A) and bottom (Level B) divisions. It features all 51 U.S. state teams, rated according to their political and economic power. The definition of Blue and Red states is based on the 2020 election results, adding an intriguing political dimension to the competition. The Blue League has 26 teams in total, while the Red League has 25. You can check out all American teams on this page . Red League fixture At the end of each season, the worst-performing team in the top division (Level A) will be relegated to the bottom division (Level B), while the best team from the bottom division will be promoted to the top division, ensuring a dynamic and competitive environment. The World Champion League is based on the new UCL "Swiss Model" format

The World Champion League has adopted a format similar to the revamped "Swiss system" UEFA Champions League for the 2024-2025 season. Before the start of the competition, you can select 36 teams of your own choices. League Phase The league phase of the World Champion League features 36 teams, divided into 4 pots based on their Elo rankings. Each team plays a total of 8 matches, facing 2 unique opponents from each pot. This "Swiss system" ensures a balanced and competitive schedule, with teams playing 4 home games and 4 away games. The league phase on desktop At the end of the league phase, the top 8 teams directly qualify for the knockout stage, ensuring that the strongest contenders advance to the next round. 256-team double elimination tournament now available!

For the first time in the history of ball sports tournament simulators, a 256-team double elimination tournament has been available in the Forever World Cup Simulator .  The tournament is divided into Winners and Losers Bracelet. All 256 teams start in the Winners Bracket. The winners bracket fixture Teams that win their matches in the Winners Bracket continue advancing. Teams that lose in the Winners Bracket are moved to the Losers Bracket, where they get a second chance to compete. The losers braceket Teams that lose in the Losers Bracket are eliminated from the tournament. The final match is played between the last remaining team in the Winners Bracket and the last team standing in the Losers Bracket. The Winners Bracket finalist needs to win only one match to claim the championship, while the Losers Bracket finalist must win two matches to become the champion.
