Oil Rivalry League now available
The Oil Rivalry League is a unique football league that pits two opposing groups against each other - the Just Stop Oil group and the Just Use Oil group. Each group operates its own Apertura and Clausura mini-leagues, a format commonly used in Latin American football.
Within each group, teams compete in two separate half-season tournaments, Apertura (Opening) and Clausura (Closing). In each tournament, each team plays a single round-robin against their group opponents.

Apertura and Clausura Playoffs
The champions of the Apertura and Clausura tournaments within each group then face off against each other in a playoff series to determine the overall group champion for that season. In a scenario where a single team wins both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments within a group, the best runner-up will take the playoff slot.League Finals
The two group champions - one from the Just Stop Oil group and one from the Just Use Oil group - then square off in a final championship series to determine the ultimate winner of the Oil Rivalry League for that season. This final showdown pits the opposing ideological positions against each other on the field of play.
The Apertura/Clausura format, combined with the group structure, creates an engaging and high-stakes competition that keeps fans invested throughout the entire league calendar.
